Returns and exchanges for online orders from The Old Railroad Stop (341 Hiawatha Line, Hiawatha First Nation, Ontario).

Before you order

  • Check the product page for size, colour, and any pickup-only notes (cold / refrigerated / frozen food does not ship).
  • Shipping rates are calculated at checkout. We do not offer free shipping.
  • Questions about stock or fit? Call 705-295-GEAR (4327) before you buy — we’re happy to check the shelf.

How to start a return

  1. Email or call us within 14 days of delivery with your order number and what you’d like returned or exchanged.
  2. We’ll confirm whether the item is eligible and how to send it back (or arrange a local drop-off / pickup swap).
  3. Please keep the item unused, in its original packaging when possible, with tags attached for gift-shop goods.

Hours: 7:00 am–9:00 pm daily. Closed Christmas Day, Boxing Day, and New Year’s Day.

What we can usually accept

  • Unused gift-shop items, shelf-stable groceries, and unopened automotive parts that arrived damaged or not as described.
  • Wrong size / wrong item shipped — we’ll make it right with a replacement or refund once we have the return.

What we can’t take back

  • Opened food, drinks, personal-care, or hygiene items (unless defective on arrival).
  • Cold / frozen / refrigerated products (pickup-only) once they leave our cooler.
  • Custom or special-order parts after they’ve been ordered in for you.
  • Items damaged by misuse after delivery.

Refunds & shipping costs

  • Approved refunds go back to the original payment method after we receive and inspect the return.
  • If we sent the wrong item or it arrived damaged, we’ll cover reasonable return shipping.
  • Change-of-mind returns: outbound shipping is non-refundable; return shipping is the buyer’s responsibility unless we say otherwise.

Note: The restaurant next door shares the building but is a separate business. Online orders and returns are handled by The Old Railroad Stop shop / gas bar — not the restaurant.
