Stock Notify / Restock Watch
Sold out of a cottage favourite (chips, Kawartha dairy, confectionary, or a gift)? Ask us to watch it. We do not run automated SMS yet — when stock returns, a person at The Old Railroad Stop will reach you by email or phone.
No fake “notify me” buttons. Zero-qty listings stay honest. Call or email; we add you to a simple restock list for that item.
How to join a restock watch
- Note the product name (and barcode/UPC if you see it) on the product page or shelf tag.
- Email oldrailroadstop@nexicom.net or call/text 705-295-GEAR (4327) with subject or opener “Restock watch.”
- Include your name, best email or phone, and the item. We confirm when it is back on the floor or shippable.
What we watch most
- Chips & snacks: Frito-Lay and other high-turn bags that hit zero between deliveries.
- Kawartha / dairy fridge: ice cream, cream, and other cold items (pickup-only when cold).
- Gifts & artist lines: see also Artist & Gift Restock.
- Automotive: filters, wipers, and pads — we often confirm shelf stock live; see Confirm Shelf Stock.
What this is not
- Not an SMS marketing blast or abandoned-cart text program.
- Not a guarantee of a date — trucks and POS qty move; we only promise a human reply.
- No USA/politics hype. Canada-first cottage and Rice Lake restocks welcome.
