Price Honesty (Filters & Gifts)
When we say a supplier list price is higher than ours, we mean it — and we will not invent “lowest price” badges for categories we do not actually win.
The Old Railroad Stop prices automotive and many gifts in CAD at the counter and on this site. Supplier catalogs (DAI, Transbec, EcoGard lookups) are for fitment and part numbers, not our retail.
Where we usually win
- Filters (EcoGard) — look up the application on the supplier catalog, then shop or call us. List prices on those sites are not ORRS prices; ours are typically lower before tax.
- Bremsen / brake parts & AeroFlex wipers — same rule: use supplier sites to confirm the part, then ask us for the ORRS quote.
- In-stock gifts — what you see on the product page is the CAD retail we sell; we do not scrape competitor gift sites into a fake “compare at” widget.
What we will not do
- No auto-updating competitor price ticker that we cannot verify every hour.
- No “guaranteed cheapest in Canada” claim across groceries, tobacco alternatives we do not sell, or lottery.
- No USA/politics hype or made-up regional deals. This is a Hiawatha First Nation gas bar + shop shipping Canada & US — honest shelf prices only.
How to double-check
- Find the part on Automotive or the EcoGard lookup linked there.
- Call 705-295-GEAR (4327) if qty shows zero — we can confirm shelf stock (Confirm Shelf Stock).
- Checkout shows tax and shipping separately; pump prices stay on the homepage strip and are not mixed into parts quotes.
